The Copernicus and GMES&Africa Expert Exchange Workshop
The Copernicus and GMES&Africa Expert Exchange Workshop was held in Darmstadt, Germany from 13-15November 2018.
The workshop is collaboration between EUMETSAT and GMES & Africa Consortium, targets scientists in Africa and experienced scientists with an interest in working with satellite based Ocean observation data. It aimed to share experience on marine applications of satellite data, as well as providing a forum for exchange of knowledge and practice between those involved in marine satellite data training from the EUMETSAT, Copernicus marine training team and representatives of the GMES Africa Consortia. This expert exchange will then be used to build a strategy for collaboration between attendees with regards to future training.
